Wednesday 18th March Walking Tour No. 2 - Chamberlain Square to the Bull Ring. from the Musuem steps in Chamberlain Square
Chamberlain Square to the Bull Ring
We take in some of the key features of the city. From the Art Gallery steps we head through the central area of the city to the Bull Ring taking in the modernism of Grand Central. We consider general aspects of the city centre and include artistic features such as the work of Sir Edward Burne-Jones, who was born in Birmingham. We visit key central spaces such as St Philip's and Victoria Squares and get a feel both for the history and the present day city and where it is heading for the future. We end in the pre-Raphaelite galleries of the Museum.
Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable local people and great fun to spend time with.
Start (13:30) and End (15:30): Birmingham Musuem and Art Gallery steps in Chamberlain Square. Tours last around 1 3/4 - 2 hours. Ends back at the Museum Round Room.
An eTicket is sent to you after booking.
We support Sifa Fireside who work on acute and longer term homeless issues in Birmingham with at least 10% of all sales going to their work.
