Discovering Birmingham; Understand today's city in its historical context

Whether you have lived in Birmingham all your life, are studying at one of our five Unis, or are just visiting for a day, you will have a great time on tour. Guides are local people with a wealth of knowledge who deliver a fun tour of the city.

  • Take the 'secret canal' to the Jewellery Quarter and understand  industries from artisan jewellers to giant enterprises who dominated the world.
  • See where the city is heading into the future
  • Black Lives Matter - appreciate Birmingham's  role in and reliance on the 17th and 18th century slave trade.

This is simply a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
